Salary: £25,000 


• Microsoft Windows 7, 8.1, 10 (User setup, troubleshooting).
• Office 365 (OneDrive, EOL, SharePoint (User setup and troubleshooting).
• Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc) (User setup and troubleshooting).
• Microsoft Teams. (User setup and troubleshooting).
• Backups (Monitoring and troubleshooting).
• PC/laptop and server hardware (User setup and troubleshooting).
• Microsoft Exchange 2010-2019 (User setup and troubleshooting).
• Microsoft Windows Server 2008-2019 (Troubleshooting).
• Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and Azure AD Connect. (User setup and troubleshooting).
• Server virtualisation (Hyper-V 2016, 2019) (Troubleshooting).
• Group policy (Support and troubleshooting).
• Networking (IPv4, IPv6, VLAN) (Support and troubleshooting).
• WIFI/Router/switch knowledge/configuration. (Support and troubleshooting).
• Security tools (AV, AM, spam-filtering, web-filtering, etc) (Support and troubleshooting).

• Previous IT Helpdesk experience
• Professional customer service skills.
• Professional written and verbal skills.
• Professional in attitude and appearance.
• Ability to balance service issues and requests, in accordance with SLA’s
• Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.

The 1st / 2nd Line Systems Engineer will be responsible for:

*Initial call handling, resolving, or escalating helpdesk tickets as necessary
*Applying updates to supported systems
*Updating documentation as necessary
*Providing general troubleshooting and support to internal team and external customer base
*Travel to customer sites may be required for tickets that cannot be resolved remotely.
